Comes with High-Energy Neodymium magnets; efficient windings and a 6:1 planetary gear reduction allowing an easier turn-over of high compression motors. Note: Fuel injected motors require a faster cranking speed than carbureted models. See 538421 (chrome) or 538422 (black) for the identical starter motor; suitable for fuel injected models. Note: Standard starters are 1.4kW. This 2.0kW starter may require a stronger battery to actually generate the power they are rated for.
