A contemporary teardrop shaped air cleaner assembly. The back plate of this filter is CNC machined from cold forged aluminum for a maximum in strength. The open filter cover offers a maximum Rough Crafts design; a minimum in weight and a maximum in breathing capabilities. The filter element is USA made of a special synthetic material that offers better water resistance and will not require oiling; just cleaning. Compatible with stock to high performance engines. Note: The breather design used is the patented Arlen Ness Big Sucker design. Breathers are o-ringed at the heads; pass through the backing plate and proprietary shooter tubes are placed inside the mouth of the throttle/carburetor body. This allows a perfect breathing action and effectively eliminates all external breath
