The pre-1978 early manifold; is sealed with o-rings between cylinder head and manifold. This kit includes adapter rings that allows you to convert to the early style pre-E78 ''o-ring system'' to the late style L78-84 ''band style'' system. Includes adapter rings that will work with: o-ring heads and o-ring manifold; o-ring heads & band style manifold and or band style heads & o-ring manifold. Kit includes four adapter rings and two stroker adapters to convert stock manifold for longer than stock length cylinders. Note: Band style seals are not included and must be purchased separately.
